1) Summary (plain language)

• This app is not affiliated with the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) or any government entity.
• We do not require accounts and we do not ask for SSA credentials or Social Security Numbers (SSN).
• The app may show ads via Google AdMob. Ad services may process device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and ad interaction data.
• Calculator inputs are used to provide results and are typically stored only on your device (unless you choose to share/export them).

3) Data we collect

3.1 Data you provide

• Calculator inputs (e.g., age, earnings estimates, scenario selections). These are used to produce estimates and guidance.
• Support requests if you email us (your email address and the content of your message).

3.2 Data collected automatically (mainly through ads)

When ads are enabled, Google’s advertising technology may collect information automatically, such as:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
• IP address (approximate location may be inferred from IP)
• App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks, diagnostics, fraud prevention signals)
• Device and network info (device model, OS version, language, carrier)

3.3 Location data (Office Locator)

• If you use “near me” features, the app may request approximate location to help show nearby offices in Maps.
• We do not need location to use guides or calculators.

Note: If you add analytics/crash reporting (e.g., Firebase), you must also disclose it here and in Play Console Data Safety.
If you don’t use analytics, you can remove that section.

4) How we use data

• To provide app features (calculations, reminders, office search links).
• To improve reliability and fix issues (e.g., diagnosing crashes).
• To show ads and measure ad performance (via AdMob, if enabled).
• To respond to support inquiries you send to us.

5) Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate the app:

• Google AdMob (Google LLC) — advertising, measurement, fraud prevention.
• Maps / Phone — when you tap buttons that open external apps (Maps or phone dialer). Those services have their own privacy policies.

6) Advertising (AdMob) & consent

• This app may display ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob).
• Depending on your region, we may request your consent for personalized ads and measurement, and provide a way to change your choices.
• In the EEA/UK/Switzerland, Google requires use of a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated with IAB TCF for certain ad serving scenarios.

If available in the app, use “Privacy Options” / “Manage privacy choices” to update consent.

7) Your choices

• Ads consent: You can manage consent in-app where available (Privacy Options).
• Limit ad tracking: You can reset/limit Advertising ID in Android settings.
• Location: You can deny location permission; Office Locator can still work via manual search/opening Maps.
• Delete local data: You can clear app storage in Android settings to remove locally stored preferences/reminders.

8) Data retention

• Calculator inputs and preferences are generally stored locally on your device (if stored at all).
• Support emails are retained only as long as needed to address your request and maintain basic records.
• Ad-related data is handled by Google under their retention policies.

9) Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Ad-related data sent by Google’s Mobile Ads SDK is protected in transit using encryption (TLS).

10) Children’s privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us via support email,
contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11) Regional rights (EEA/UK/CH, California)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing.
For ad consent choices (EEA/UK/CH), use the in-app Privacy Options where available.
