Following the step-by-step instructions in this tutorial, you will learn how to pay your property taxes in County Cook online.  Property tax payers can pay their bills using a variety of credit cards or e-checks. The treasurer is in charge of distributing tax bills and collecting funds.

Payments for property taxes can be paid online, via mail, or in person at the Cook County Tax Office. Partial payments will be accepted, and any penalties or interest will be minimized.

Step 1: Log in to the Cook County Government Web Site

We will start by accessing the Cook County web portal from any browser or by clicking on this link: https://www.cookcountypropertyinfo.com, when we access the page we locate the Pay Online option and click on it.

Step 2: Enter Property PIN Number

Now we will be asked to enter our Pin number, this number can be found on any old paid bill. Then we type it in and click on the Search button.

Step 3: Select the More Tax Bill Information Option

In this part we will see a summary of the data of our property, we check that they are the correct ones and we select in the section of TAX BILLED AMOUNTS & TAX HISTORY the option More Tax Bill Information and we click.

Step 4: Select Property Tax Bill to be Paid

In this step a new tab will open where we will see all our property tax bills both paid and due. Select the bill you wish to pay and click on the Pay Now button.

Step 5: Select Payment Methods

We now continue by selecting the payment method by which we want to pay, among which are E-check or Credit/Debit Cards. We fill in that we accept the terms and conditions in one of the two options and click on the payment option button.

Step 6: Confirmation of outstanding debt to be paid

Then in this next section we review the data and confirm that we want to proceed with the payment by clicking the Yes button.

Step 7: Enter the amount to be paid

Once the previous step is done we must enter the amount we want to pay or pay the debt. When we type it we click on the Continue To Pay button.

Step 8: Payment Platform Selected

We will be taken to the payment platform that we selected previously where we will fill in our personal and financial data, after filling in all the fields we click on the Continue button.

Step 9: Confirmation of Payment to be Made

We will confirm that the data is correct, fill in the box that we accept the authorization and click on the Confirm button.

Step 10: Download Payment Support

Finally when finishing our payment we are going to print and to save the support in the options that appears to us before leaving the page. it is advised to erase the navigation history so that it does not expose the financial data, finally click in the button OK to leave.
