How To Consult and Pay the San Diego Property Tax?

Step 1: Access the San Diego County Government Property Tax Collection Web Site

To begin the process first we enter the official San Diego County Treasurer’s website by searching in a browser or by clicking on the following link: https://www.sdttc.com, when we enter we locate the green Pay Bill box and click on it.

Then a small pop-up window will open with the details of the process where we press the Continue button to continue.

Step 2: Search San Diego Property Tax Information

In this part you have to search for your property tax by 3 options, which are: by parcel number, mailing address or by bill number. It is easier to search by address or invoice number, when you enter the search option click on the start search button.

Step 3: Add to Cart the Value Due

This step will show the summary of debts that you have for property tax, select the one you want to pay and click on the add to cart button.

Step 4: Confirm the Amount of Property Tax Due

In this step you review the invoices you have added to pay, once you are sure of the value to pay click on the View Cart button.

Step 5: Start Payment Checkout

Now you will see a summary of the payment to be made and to continue click on the Check Out button.

Step 6: Payment Gateway San Diego County Treasurer’s Office

From the previous step we will be redirected to the payment gateway of the San Diego County Treasurer’s Office, we will start with the payment information of the property tax bill and when we review it we click on the green Pay button.

Step 7: Fill in Personal Information of the Tax Payer

What is requested now is to fill in some blank fields with the payer’s personal information, once all the fields have been filled in, click on the Continue button.

Step 8: Credit Card Payment Method

If you want or need to pay the Property Tax by Credit Card, select the payment method and fill in the card and cardholder information. Then click on the Continue button.

Step 9: Tax Payment Method by e-Chek

If you need or want to pay the Property Tax by e-Check, select the payment method option and fill in the personal and bank information of the payer. Once all the requested information is filled in, click on Continue.

Step 10: Property Tax Payment Summary Confirmation

Finally you must confirm the payment by accepting the terms and conditions, filling in the box that we agree and clicking on the Submit Payment button.

Step 11: Print and Download San Diego Property Tax Bill Payment Support

The above step completes the payment process. Before exiting the page, print and download the Payment Voucher. It is recommended to delete your browsing history to protect your banking information. Never share your data with strangers.
