How to pay property taxes in Los Angeles online?

First: access the Los Angeles property tax payment portal

The first thing we have to do is to search in our browser the Los Angeles government page, or click on this link: https://www.propertytax.lacounty.gov/ , once we enter we locate the box with the option Pay Property Taxes Online and click on it.

Second: Select the option Make Online Payment

Once we are inside the payment platform we will locate in the section PAYING BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD the button that says Make Online Payment.

Third: Accept Terms of Use and Continue

Now the terms of use will appear where we will read them and we advance until the end and validate the security measure where we are not a robot and click on Next.

Fourth: Selection of Property Tax and introduction of AIN Number

In this step we are located on the left side and we will click on the Property Tax Inquiry / One-Time Payment button.

Then you will be prompted to enter your Assessor’s Identification Number – AIN and click Submit.

Then click on the Make A Payment button.

Fifth: Select a Payment Option for your Tax

We will continue observing the payment options that appear, after reviewing all of them we click on the Proceed to Pay by eCheck button.

Then we will see the terms of payment where we review them all until the end, we click on accept terms and conditions and click on the Next button.

Sixth: Fill in the PIN Code of your Tax

In this part a pop-up window will appear asking us to enter the PIN code, we type it and click on the Next button.

Seventh: Make the payment of your tax online

In this step we will see the value of our tax invoice, select the amount to pay and click on the Add to Shopping Cart button.

Later we proceed to confirm our payment by clicking on the button Proceed to Checkout, when we click on it a pop-up window will open in which we click on OK.

We will then wait 5 seconds to be redirected to the payment gateway of the Los Angeles government site.

Eighth: Payment Gateway of Los Angeles

Once we are inside the payment gateway we review the data we are going to pay and click on the Continue button.

Now we have to fill in the financial and personal data to make the payment, we fill them in and click on Continue.

Then we review the summary that appears and click on Process Payment.

Finally we finish with our process, download and print our payment support before leaving the page.

Check your email to confirm that the payment was successful, do not share your personal and financial information with strangers. You are also advised to delete your browser history so that your financial information is not saved.
